Manager
Vanessa began her career in the beauty industry in Toronto as a graduate from Complections College of Makeup Artistry & Design in 2013. She started out in fashion doing runway, look books, and editorial photoshoots. From there she moved into video work doing commercials, independent films, and bio videos. 2020 saw her return to her hometown and continued in the beauty industry in an administrative salon role. Joining the Drift Salon/Day Spa team she’ll use her knowledge and experience to guide the estheticians and heighten guest experiences.

Since the Spa’s inception, it has offered team training/certification in microblading, laser services, eyelash extensions, micro needling and super facials ensuring that our team can serve you in achieving your desired goals and results.

Lead Esthetician
Aarzoo is a very experienced esthetician and has been in the industry for almost a decade. She offers a full service list including manicures, pedicures, facial and body waxing, threading, facials, lash lifting and tinting, and complete brow services. She is certified in Laser Hair Removal, Laser Skin Rejuvenation, GeneoX super facials, and Trilipo. She prides herself on creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for each and every client, tailoring the service to best meet their needs.
Amanda
Esthetician
With over 23 years of experience in the Spa Industry, Amanda continues to have a passion for esthetics and is continuously educating herself in new skills and treatments to better serve her clients. While at Drift Salon / Day Spa she has had the opportunity to train and certify on some of the most advanced treatments including super facials like GeneoX, Laser Hair Removal, Laser Skin Rejuvenation, and Trilipo. Amanda specializes in skincare and facials, her soothing and gentle touch is the reason clients have remained loyal to her throughout her career.
Adelina
Esthetician
Adelina has been in the beauty industry since 2003. Her career began as a hairdresser, graduating from Thunder Bay School of Hair Design. She was also taught waxing and became certified in gel nails. In 2008, she made the decision to enroll in esthetics school, becoming a Fully Certified Esthetician. Adelina is certified in LCN gel nails, as well as En Vogue. She specializes in gel nail extensions and nail art and joined our team in 2019. She has always had a passion for drawing and painting and loves that she can use these skills to create beauty on your nails.
Hortencia
Esthetician
Hortencia is originally from Mexico, she speaks both Spanish and English. She is happy to announce her services as a massagist here at Drift. She was certified at Sebastian Kneipp Superior Institute of Massage and Alternative Therapies in Mexico City in 2013. She has over a decade of experience in relaxation massage. In addition to relaxation and hot stone massage Hortencia also performs body wraps, body polishes, manicures, pedicures, and waxing services.
Sara
Esthetician
Sara stepped into the beauty industry in 2020 and started with manicures and pedicures. Since then she has continuously furthered her education and training. Sara’s dedication to her craft has seen her expand her service list to include certification in GeneoX super facials, Laser Hair Removal, Laser Skin Rejuvenation, and Trilipo. Sara also offers traditional facials, body wraps, and body polishes.
Hana
Esthetician
Hana has been a nail technician since 2020. She offers traditional manicures as well as gel nail extensions. Her attention to detail makes nail art her specialty; she can create intricate designs, 3D designs, face art, and animation style designs. She uses her experience to create the nails of your dreams. Hana truly performs magic on nails!
In addition to her skills as a nail tech Hana also offers pedicures and waxing services.
She is fluent in English and Persian.

Misty
Usui Reiki Master
Misty has been practicing the traditional Usui method of Reiki since 1998. In early 2024 she received second-degree Holy Fire Reiki attunement and was later called to become a Master. She focuses on the individual’s energy consciousness system to create physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. Misty’s approach includes using a pendulum and singing bowls to create resonant frequencies that enhance relaxation, stress reduction, and mental clarity.
She is excited to guide others on their spiritual journeys!

We are thrilled to have an amazing team of hairdressers, with years of experience. This full-service salon is open 6 days a week, taking appointments for cuts, colours, perms, relaxants, and so much more. Our talented team has the ability and space to do group appointments, such as wedding parties.
Mandy
Hair Stylist
Mandy loves creating head-turning looks for her clients and this has been her passion for the last 26 years. She graduated from Pivot Point Hairdressing School located here in Thunder Bay in 1997. Mandy takes pride in ensuring that everyone who sits in her chair is satisfied with their service while creating a relaxed environment for them to take a break from their busy day. She is experienced and trained in such products as Joico, Goldwell, and as well as our Milkshake and REF products. Mandy is also highly skilled in ombré, color correction, balayage, and up styles for graduations and weddings. She is also educated in the Goldwell Kerasilk Smoothing System to be able to use on her clients. Mandy loves to keep up-to-date on the best, healthiest and newest techniques.

Daniela has been a part of Drifts team for 5+ years and has worked within the industry for 20+ years. She is a licensed and certified technician in multiple extension applications, colour systems, and has a love for formal hair. Daniela strives to give her clients their dream hair and a safe place to unwind. She thrives on building strong connections and helping clients express their personalities through their hair. Clean Beauty is also at the forefront of her passion. Using luxurious clean products that are safe for people and the planet. While her clientele is built on lived in blondes, chocolatey brunettes, and extensions. Being behind the chair regardless of the service she embraces them all! Erin has been in the hair industry for 10+ years. She has an innovative passion for hair design and genuinely cares to do the best job possible with each and every client. She's lucky enough to always be taking courses to advance her skills, from learning from colour brand ambassadors to celebrity stylist to hone her skills. Erin has received a master colour certificate from Joico, our current line we use in salon, and is very knowledgeable in the line and how the chemistry and benefits of the line work. Erin loves connecting with clients and making their hair dreams come true!

Jules has been in the hair industry for the past 20+ years but newly part of the Drift hair team since 2020. She carries a wealth of knowledge in the colour department and takes pride in delivering custom creations for each client in her chair.
Jules keeps up to date with new techniques and loves learning how to grow as a stylist. She specializes in blonde colouring, balayage and has extensive creative ability with dimensional brunettes, red tones and vibrant shades. Her work has been featured in the CosmoProf magazine as well as on a worldwide online hair magazine website. Sharing her work on multiple social media platforms has gained her recognition within the hair industry across the globe.

Olivia began her journey at Drift in the fall of 2023 as an attendant. Her cheerful demeanour was noticed by everyone and after only a couple months at Drift she was behind the desk as a receptionist. This move allowed her personality to flourish! Olivia has shown remarkable growth and clients often comment on their interactions with her.

Katie started at Drift in early 2024 as a co-op student working as an attendant. Her friendly, outgoing personality was noticed immediately and she was asked to become a permanent member of the Drift team before her co-op was completed. Katie stepped into her role at the desk at the beginning of summer 2024 and has shown herself to be a natural when it comes to customer service.
